About
Conor Stevens is a guitarist, arranger, composer, orchestrator and all-around score enthusiast based in London. Conor grew up in the Bedfordshire countryside, exploring music at an early age through classical guitar and later on Saxophone and electric guitar.
Conor graduated from The University of Liverpool in 2019, achieving a BA in Music with first-class honours, and was also a recipient of the joint UoL & RLPO performance scholarship. While at university, he specialised in composition, orchestration and musicology. Since graduating, Conor has taught guitar, music theory, and performed in various settings, including theatre, original bands and as a session player.
Theatre credits include RENT (Hope Mill Theatre, Manchester - 2020 & '21) and Game Theory (Rewrites Festival, The Lowry, Manchester - 2021), plus many more educational and am-drama productions. Additionally, Conor was part of the MD Mentorship Scheme '21-'22.
Currently, Conor is Composer-in-residence at the Emanuel School, Battersea, assisting in teaching composition, music theory and aural skills. Plus, arranging and composing for the school's myriad of ensembles and events.
Conor arranges and writes for orchestral forces, theatre bands, choirs, and smaller ensembles. His biggest project, 'A Night At The Musicals' (The Clapham Grand, London - 2022), saw him arrange and orchestrate the best music from the world of musical theatre for a 100+ member choir and 16-piece theatre pit band.

Conor has a wealth of experience transcribing, arranging and orchestrating music for big bands, wind bands, orchestras, chamber ensembles, pop & rock ensembles and musical theatre. Conor is available for any music notation work and new compositions by request.
